I create fine pointed pen calligraphy for invitations, place cards, paper goods, and other meaningful details - each one thoughtfully written to make your occasion feel entirely your own.With more than three decades of experience, I specialize in fine pointed pen calligraphy, drawing from traditional Copperplate and Spencerian techniques to create lettering that feels both timeless and personal.

Day-of Details: Place cards, Escort cards, Menus, Table numbers, Signage, Special handwritten details

Spot Calligraphy: Handwritten names, phrases, monograms, and details added directly to your paper goods.

A Personal Process: After consultation either by phone or email, I start in pencil, and send over rough drafts before inking. After approving “proofs” you receive high quality digital image(s) ready for print. I am happy to meet with you to show samples and can order directly through Dogwood Hill for your pieces. Some brides work with their local stationer, who sends the files to their printer. I do not copy fonts, as calligraphy is hand-written, based on traditional scripts from yesteryear. I can tweak my style to fit your vision and am always open to ideas!
